The Ecobaby 100% natural rubber mattress by Pure Rest Organics has a 4" natural rubber core, with organic cotton and Pure Grow wool. The rubber is firm and supportive and all natural with no chemical additives. Wool is used as a natural flame retardant, is naturally water-resistant, has natural bacterial resistance and dust mite control properties.

Natural rubber is firmer than other types of mattresses. This makes the Ecobaby 100% natural rubber crib mattress both durable and comfortable. As with all Pure Rest crib mattresses, this mattress passes all safety regulations and CPSC guidelines.

This model comes with edge guards, so can be used as a toddler's bed mattress.

Our firm rubber crib mattress uses 100% Sri Lankan natural rubber (no fillers, no toluene like the Indian rubber, and no ash). We quilt together a layer of organic cotton fabric, organic batting, organically processed wool from organically raised sheep, and our attractive European organic cotton fabric. By quilting all this together we can use more topping materials that provide a uniform supportive sleeping surface.
